AC in the room was broken, walls were dripping. It was pretty bad. All of our stuff and furniture molded in the few days we were there. Employees were great and all but they didn’t have another room to put us in. Said to reach out to manager. Manager never returned an email after the stay, forwarded our email to corporate and they got right back and said in 48 hours they will contact. Nothing. I wouldn’t have been so friendly and understanding had I known we’d get ghosted, and surely didn’t plan on posting pics of what the room looked like.

I recently had an emergency stay at Home2 Suites while bringing my dog to UF. While I was grateful for the staff’s flexibility when my stay extended from 1 night to 3, the property overall was disappointing and fell short of expectations. Upon check-in, I was placed in a very dated handicap room. The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned and smelled like urine. To her credit, the front desk employee was accommodating, apologized, and immediately moved me to a second room. While the second room was cleaner, it still felt tired and worn. Overall, the hotel is what I’d call "surface clean"β€”it looks fine at a glance, but a closer look reveals filthy baseboards, dirty corners, and a dust-covered fridge. The carpet felt questionable, and the pillows were extremely lumpy. Internet was also very spotty and was down most of the day on my 3rd day. When I called the front desk I was informed it happens frequently. As someone who travels frequently for work, I also found the breakfast selection to be one of the poorest I’ve seen. Additionally, I was surprised to find an unmentioned $7/day parking fee on my final bill. Given the number of hotel options in the area, this property really needs an upd

I was very disappointed with our stay. For almost $289 for just one night, I expected a much cleaner and more comfortable experience. The room was not clean, and the bedding had a terrible smell. We also found two dirty towels, which was unacceptable. The complimentary breakfast was another disappointment. It was served with disposable cutlery, there weren't even enough forks available, the food was cold, and there was very little variety. We had already been on a 8-hour road trip, so arriving at a hotel in this condition was extremely frustrating. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I don't feel the hotel was worth the price we paid. I would not recommend staying here.

We did a one night stay at this Hilton property last week. We chose this hotel due to the proximity it is to The Veterans Hospital. It was very convenient. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the amenities. Our room was a suite. We had a sofa sleeper, refrigerator, microwave, desk area, coffee pot. The shower was outstanding. The Hotel was quiet and the parking was only $7. They Offer a complimentary breakfast with fresh coffee. The staff all were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very clean with a warm decor. Highly recommended this hotel. Free Wi-fi too.
